Ideal for couples looking for a cool Cornish retreat, Blue Moon is a chic bohemian bolthole set in the endearing seaside town of St Ives.
Located just next to Moon Shadow, Blue Moon’s clever design and stylish details have transformed this modest fisherman’s cottage into cosy and creative space set across two levels. This makes it the perfect weekend bolthole for either a couple or a single traveller looking for somewhere more imaginative than the usual accommodation options in Cornwall.
Downstairs, there is an open-plan kitchen and living area with a deep-set sofa and a SMART flatscreen TV. Just opposite the bottom of the stairs is the shower room.
Upstairs, the main bedroom has a custom-built super King bed, a built-in wardrobe and a SMART TV – and the room feels wonderfully atmospheric thanks to the exposed rafters of the original roof. Next door, there is a dressing room with space to fit a cot.

We called it our teeney weeney cottage but it was big in chic style. We liked the attention to detail on the furnishings, tableware and bedding and towels which were all good quality this enhances the stay. 'Til we meet again...
Prettiest place I’ve ever stayed in the UK. Blue Moon itself was so snug and warm to come back to after a winters walk on the beach (which is only around the corner!) Super location, super restaurants and pubs, super friendly people. We can’t wait to return and try some other Sand & Stone accommodations.
Great location, well planned accommodation, the comfiest bed with super soft linen, fluffy towels and robes. The whole cottage smelt great and the fresh milk and bubbly were really appreciated.
Utterly charming and delightful. Loved every second. The cottage was wonderful. It was cosy but not cramped and that dressing room is a stroke of genius.
