Overview

With direct access to the most beautiful beach* in St Ives and an amazing starlit steam room, Coxswain’s Cottage is one of the coolest places in Cornwall. Step off the bustling street and you’ll discover a stylish sanctum of exposed stone walls set across three floors. The converted fisherman’s cottage has been renovated to fit all you would need for a holiday home by the seaside, the cosy interior houses up to 6 people in three bedrooms.

Lower Ground

The fully equipped kitchen adjoins the dining area set up for six. The large bathroom also converts into a decadent steam room, ideal for post-plunge in the Cornish ocean.

To the rear a small private patio leads to a secret tunnel that opens right onto the sand on Porthmeor Beach.

*Direct access to Porthmeor Beach may not be available in the winter period. But Porthmeor Beach is still just a short walk from the cottage.

Ground Floor

The cosy living space includes a six-person sofa that lovingly fits the entire family for film night. The ground floor also has the third bedroom making it wonderfully comfortable for a property of this size.

First Floor

Upstairs are two King bedrooms with crisp white linen and charming touches including wooden latch doors. These two bedrooms also come with their own en-suite shower rooms.

The boutiques and cafés of St Ives are less than two minutes away, while the Tate St Ives gallery is a 5-minute walk from the property.
