Overview
An ultra-chic escape set over two floors of a classic Georgian townhouse in the heart of the historic city of Bath. This elegant three bedroom apartment oozes grace and grandeur, with interiors that sing luxury whilst remaining inviting and understated. Designed by its owner who was inspired by the style and feel of exclusive members clubs, The Palladian Townhouse is somewhere you’ll want to return to time and time again.
Ground Floor
Enter the property through the Georgian facade from a pedestrianised cobbled square, only a few steps from the iconic Roman Baths and Bath Abbey. Once inside the stately hallway, you’ll find the entrance to your hideaway on the ground floor. The space consists of high ceilings and large sash windows, filling the property with natural light and greeting you with an air of regal romance.
The decor and interiors are effortlessly stylish, enhanced by the palatial backdrop of crisp white walls and original Georgian features. The open-plan living space and its sumptuous velvet sofas centre around an ornate open fire with an Art Deco style mirror overhead. The exquisitely designed marble kitchen is so beautiful, it’ll make even the least confident of those in the cooking department want to instantly begin prepping a banquet, to be enjoyed around either the indoor or outdoor dining table.
Lower Ground Floor
Downstairs sit the 3 individually designed yet equally elegant bedrooms, all with super-king size beds and stone floors with underfloor heating. The Master Suite, with its statement wrought iron bed, is finished with soft green wooden panelled walls and and lofty floor to ceiling windows. It also has its very own spoiling en-suite marble wet room with a rainfall shower.
The second bedroom, in contrast, has rich hague-hued walls. Here you can expect vintage-style features with a French flair, another king-sized bed with a rattan headboard and a statement sandstone fireplace. The third and final bedroom has a charming vaulted ceiling, a vanity area and a super-king bed that can be made into twins upon request. No expense has been spared in the family bathroom; decked in marble with a roll top bathtub and separate rainfall shower, this is a place for pampering.
Outside
Follow the French doors outside into a secluded walled courtyard garden, where an alfresco dining set up of dreams awaits you. Lined with olive trees and swathed in fairy lights, this outdoor space is perfect for cosy starlit soirees.

Bath
The historic UNESCO World Heritage City of Bath, known for its honey-hued Roman architecture and iconic Roman Baths for which it’s named after, is nestled within the Avon Valley in the calm county of Somerset. The little sister to Bristol, Bath offers the best of both worlds; with all the riches of a cultural city break on a backdrop of bucolic beauty.
From independent arthouse cinemas, bustling restaurants and cafes, to National Trust meadows, meandering waterways and ancient woodland, you’ll have plenty to get out of bed for when staying at The Palladian Townhouse.
Transport
The nearest train station is Bath Spa; only a short 5 minute stroll away. With direct trains from London taking just over an hour, this property is perfect for those seeking a long weekend escape.
You won’t need a car to explore. Make the most of meandering the cobbled streets and soaking up the rows of Regency buildings by foot.
Parking
If you are travelling by car, there’s a long stay car park just around the corner.
