yarrow cottage

The Cotswolds
Sleeps 4 From £210 per night

Eclectic décor, bold creative touches and attention to detail ensure Yarrow is one of the best places to stay in the Cotswolds. Sleeping up to four guests in two double bedrooms, the two-story self-catered getaway is loved by couples, friends and small families alike.

DOWNSTAIRS

The cottage enters onto a well-furnished sitting room with a bespoke corner snug seat, two sofas and a log burning stove. The room feels curated yet cosy thanks to its exposed Cotswold stone, Balinese furniture and bold artwork. The dining room next door has seating for six, ideal for an intimate dinner party surrounded by candles and creative lighting. The fully equipped adjacent kitchen has a range cooker, Nespresso coffee machine and complimentary spirits bar.

UPSTAIRS

Here you’ll find the master bedroom with a super king custom-built bed and the exposed wooden beams of a traditional English country cottage. The second bedroom also has a bespoke bed for two and a large bathroom with a giant copper roll top bathtub.

OUTSIDE

The kitchen back door opens onto a small garden space with a table and chairs—the ideal spot for a country breakfast or drinks in the sun.

The village of Churchill encapsulates that endearing beauty of the Cotswolds, thanks to its emerald village green, its cricket field, and the historic church that gives the village its name.

HOW TO GET TO CHURCHILL

Yarrow Cottage is located on Junction Road in Churchill, just a 3-minute walk to The Chequer’s Pub, village green and church. Churchill is located between Kingham station (mainline trains to Paddington) and Chipping Norton, a 5-minute drive from each, and only 3 miles from Daylesford Organic farm.

Kingham station, on the main London to Hereford line, is a 5-minute drive away, with fast trains running regularly throughout the day, taking around an hour and a half from Paddington.
