Sales Consultant | Full Time

Sand & Stone Escapes is a boutique holiday let agency offering a carefully curated collection of beautiful homes, handpicked for their charm and comfort. Our properties are located in quintessentially British destinations, from Cornwall and the Cotswolds to Edinburgh and the Isle of Skye.

We are looking for a driven and personable Sales Consultant to join our team in Kingham. In this role, you will be responsible for converting enquiries into bookings, building long-term guest relationships, and delivering exceptional service from first contact through to post-stay follow-up.

Sand & Stone Escapes is part of The Peligoni Group, benefiting from the resources and support of a larger parent company, whilst maintaining a small and dynamic team.

Location: Kingham, Oxfordshire with occasional travel to visit properties throughout the UK.

Office Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am – 6pm.

Reporting to: Head of Sales

Key Responsibilities

  • Handle inbound booking enquiries via phone, email, and online platforms
  • Provide tailored recommendations based on guests’ preferences and needs
  • Convert leads into confirmed bookings through knowledgeable communication
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of all properties and their unique features
  • Report sales and enquiries data to the wider team
  • Build rapport with guests, ensuring a personal and high-touch service
  • Achieve and exceed individual and team sales targets
  • Keep accurate records of guest interactions and booking details in our CRM system
  • Take payments and security deposits in accordance with booking terms and conditions, ensuring these are received in good time
  • Liaise with property owners and housekeepers over booking related matters
  • Respond to guest feedback and share actionable insights with the team and property owners
  • Handle complaints – including those from guests and property owners regarding any damages – in a professional, empathetic, and timely manner, working towards positive resolutions for the guest, property owner and the company.
  • Participate in the emergency out-of-hours rota, being on call during weekends and evenings to promptly handle guest queries, urgent issues with properties, and ensure a seamless guest experience.

  • Proven experience in a sales environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • A guest-first mindset with a focus on service excellence
  • Confidence in working with booking systems and CRM tools
  • Highly organised with attention to detail
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and team-oriented
  • Familiarity with the luxury travel or property rental sector is desirable

Salary & Benefits

  • Annual salary from £28,000
