The Surroundings
Bonnington Farm sits quietly on the edge of the village of Sutton Bonington, tucked between Nottingham and Derby, yet feeling a world away from both. Getting here is simple — a train to East Midlands Parkway from St Pancras, then a short 10-minute taxi ride. Once you arrive, it’s all open countryside, riverside paths and miles of walking routes, with only horses and sheep for neighbours.
In the village itself, you’ll find a couple of pubs and a monthly famers’ market. If you do feel like venturing a little further, spots like Loughborough, the walking trails of Charnwood Forest, and waterside stretches around the River Soar are all within easy reach – though more often than not, you’ll find everything you need right here.
