In 2017 we moved to Cornwall from West Sussex. Through a series of coincidences/good luck we ended up buying both properties as holiday lets. Sand and Stone were the agents when we rented them so it was a no brainer to continue using a winning formula. We liked their website, found their staff easy to deal with and we felt their agency reflected the same high standards we wanted to offer in the cottages. We have had no reason to question that decision. They set out realistic income projections when we bought the properties and have overachieved those in each of the 3 years we have been with them.

Sand & Stone grew from Beachspoke who specialised in small romantic cottages which I had designed.

The staff are interested and intelligent and understand the importance of design and providing luxury service. It has provided a stable income as the cottages are let for short stays year round to couples rather than for school holidays alone
