About Bibury, The Cotswolds

Known for its honey-hued stone and pretty chocolate-box cottages, Bibury is home to one of the most photographed streets in the whole of the Cotswolds; the National Trust protected, Arlington Row. Crowned by William Morris as ‘the most beautiful village in the Cotswolds’, it’s safe to say that this iconic countryside destination will not disappoint.

Expect pretty pastoral scenes at every turn (the River Coln runs through the village), a popular village pub and a handful of historic sights to discover. You can explore the nearby towns of Stow-on-the-Wold, Bourton-on-the-Water, Stroud and more, plus the classic Cotswolds Lavender Farm is only a short drive away.

How To Get There

Bull Pen sits just outside the village of Bibury, located between Cirencester and Burford (about a 15-minute drive from each). We recommend travelling to the Cotswolds by car, so you can explore the surrounding area. There is private parking and an electric vehicle charging point available upon request.

The closest train station is at Kemble (roughly a 25-minute drive away), with regular trains running from London and other major cities. The train from London Paddington takes approximately one and a half hours.
