Overview
Indulge and unwind in this thoughtfully restored former cart shed, now a luxury holiday retreat with a log burner for cosy winter afternoons and sun-drenched garden for summer relaxation. Architecturally designed by Blake Architects and styled by Pippa Paton Design, this escape sits on a family-run farm, with four other luxury converted barns.
Kitchen, Living & Dining Areas
Cart Shed pairs original character with a modern, slate-hued interior. The white-tiled kitchen is simple, stylish and well equipped, with a breakfast bar made for morning coffee, while the open-plan sitting and dining area makes the most of the space. There’s also a downstairs loo.
The Bedrooms & Bathrooms
Downstairs, the main super-king bedroom has a spacious dressing room and an en-suite wet room with both a bath and shower.
Upstairs, two further super-king/twin bedrooms sit beneath rustic exposed rafters, each with its own en-suite – one with a bath, the other with a shower. Their windows overlook the sun-drenched garden and green lawn, while one bedroom also has access to the outdoor staircase.
Outside
The lawned garden is made for summer days, with an outdoor dining set up perched underneath a parasol.

Please note, Cart Shed is happy to accept 1 dog for an additional fee of £50.

A welcome hamper filled with local goodies will be waiting for you on arrival including milk, butter, eggs, bacon, granola and fresh sourdough.

The Surroundings
Known for its honey-hued stone and pretty chocolate-box cottages, Bibury is home to one of the most photographed streets in the whole of the Cotswolds; the National Trust protected, Arlington Row. Crowned by William Morris as ‘the most beautiful village in the Cotswolds’, it’s safe to say that this iconic countryside destination will not disappoint.
Expect pretty pastoral scenes at every turn (the River Coln runs through the village), a popular village pub and a handful of historic sights to discover. You can explore the nearby towns of Stow-on-the-Wold, Bourton-on-the-Water, Stroud and more, plus the classic Cotswolds Lavender Farm is only a short drive away.
