Perfect for families, with expansive views, private outdoor space, generous living areas and separate games room – guests can’t help but fall in love with this old Cotswold stone barn.
Kitchen, Living & Dining Areas
As you enter, a spacious, glass-fronted hallway transforms into a large living space with log-burning fire and a trio of sofas to relax on. The floor-to-ceiling windows really make use of the expansive views the Old Hay Barn boasts compared to its neighbours. And for the little ones, the next door snug room provides space for the younger travellers amongst you to settle down. There is also a separate games room with a ping pong table and a football table.
Old Hay Barn is a haven for artisanal pieces and where interior design really comes into its own. Expect to be surrounded by hand-crafted vases, sinks made of olive wood and hand-woven baskets dotted around from the hallway to the downstairs loo.
The Bedrooms
Climb a central staircase to find four adjoining super-king bedrooms along a long corridor high in the rafters. Two of these rooms can be made into twins, and all include vast views of the Cotswold countryside and exude luxury with designer touches.
Two of the bedrooms have their own en-suites with a bath and a shower (one of the baths is in the bedroom). The other two bedrooms share a family bathroom with a bath and a shower.
Outside
The Old Hay Barn has a large lawned garden with a comfy outdoor seating set up for balmy days.
Dogs
Old Hay Barn is happy to accept up to two dogs for a fee of £50 per dog. We kindly ask that dogs are never left unattended, and do not go on any of the furniture or in bedrooms.

About Bibury, The Cotswolds
Known for its honey-hued stone and pretty chocolate-box cottages, Bibury is home to one of the most photographed streets in the whole of the Cotswolds; the National Trust protected, Arlington Row. Crowned by William Morris as ‘the most beautiful village in the Cotswolds’, it’s safe to say that this iconic countryside destination will not disappoint.
Expect pretty pastoral scenes at every turn (the River Coln runs through the village), a popular village pub and a handful of historic sights to discover. You can explore the nearby towns of Stow-on-the-Wold, Bourton-on-the-Water, Stroud and more, plus the classic Cotswolds Lavender Farm is only a short drive away.
How To Get There
Old Hay Barn sits just outside the village of Bibury, located between Cirencester and Burford (about a 15-minute drive from each). We recommend travelling to the Cotswolds by car, so you can explore the surrounding area. There is private parking and an electric vehicle charging point available upon request.
The closest train station is at Kemble (roughly a 25-minute drive away), with regular trains running from London and other major cities. The train from London Paddington takes approximately one and a half hours.
