The house is centred around a fully equipped open-plan kitchen and dining space, designed for gathering over leisurely breakfasts and shared suppers. A separate utility room and dedicated study provide added practicality, while the generous sitting room, complete with a wood-burning stove, offers a cosy place to unwind.

One of the four bedrooms is conveniently located on the ground floor and can be arranged as either a super king or twin. With an en-suite wet room, it’s particularly well suited to guests who prefer to avoid stairs.

The Bedrooms

The bedrooms have been thoughtfully arranged to offer both privacy and flexibility. The main bedroom is a restful retreat, with a super king four-poster bed and an en-suite bathroom featuring a freestanding nickel bath and walk-in shower.

A second bedroom can be configured as either a super king or twin room, with its own walk-in shower, while the third bedroom is a twin room accessed through the principal bedroom and sharing its bathroom. This layout makes the two rooms particularly well suited as a comfortable family suite.

Outside

The private garden provides a peaceful setting for outdoor living, with a lawned area and Swedish-style wood-fired hot tub for relaxing evenings. A sunken patio just beyond the kitchen, complete with a large dining table, creates the perfect spot for alfresco meals during the warmer months.

Dogs

The Orchard is happy to accept two dogs for a fee of £50 per dog. Please note, dogs are not allowed upstairs, in any of the bedrooms or on any of the furniture.

Welcome Hamper

A welcome hamper filled with local goodies will be waiting for you on arrival including milk, biscuits and a homemade cake.
