Overview
Escape to the latest addition to our Cotswold collection, Five Bells Cottage, a grade II-listed 17th-century home lovingly renovated by its owners. Tucked into a row of honey-hued cottages in the sleepy village of Bledington, this three-bedroom retreat ticks all our boxes for a classic Cotswolds getaway. A pub within walking distance, rural rambles and farm shops aplenty, multiple log burners (because when is one enough?), and plenty of cosy curl-up corners.
Kitchen, Living & Dining Areas
Don’t be fooled by the cottage label; this country abode offers light and airy spaces aplenty. On the ground floor, you’ll find a sitting room with a smart TV, a separate hallway snug, a modern open-plan kitchen with an AGA and a dining area, plus a separate loo and utility area (always handy for the dog).
Think original beams, exposed-brick walls, log burners, and joy-sparking interiors.
The Bedrooms & Bathrooms
There are three double en-suite bedrooms sleeping up to six lucky escapees. The owners pride themselves on the thought that has gone into the quality and comfort of the renovation, so expect all the little luxuries of a boutique hotel: comfortable beds, powerful showers, underfloor heating and Bamford products.
There are two bedrooms on the first floor, both with en-suite shower rooms, and a generous third bedroom on the top floor with both a shower and a freestanding bath. Please note that there’s a steep staircase leading up to the second floor.
Outside
The pretty courtyard garden at Five Bells Cottage is home to an outdoor dining set-up, a built-in BBQ and two deckchairs. The garden is walled, dotted with climbers, and fully enclosed (handy for a dog), making it an excellent sun trap in the summer months.
Welcome Hamper
A welcome hamper filled with local eggs, milk, butter, sourdough bread, biscuits, and a bottle of prosecco will be waiting for you on arrival.
Dogs
One dog is welcome at Five Bells Cottage for an additional fee of £50 per dog.
