Overview
Hiding behind a bed of wispy grass, wildflowers and lavender on Kingham’s village green, The Little Cottage is a beautifully restored escape for two that pairs centuries of character with carefully curated interiors inspired by the owner’s travels, career in film, and love of antiques. Step outside and you’re just a short stroll from two of the Cotswolds’ best-loved pubs – The Wild Rabbit and The Plough – with Daylesford Organic just a couple of minutes down the road.
Kitchen, Living & Dining Areas
The hand-built, open-plan kitchen and dining space, crafted from barn-sawn oak, is warm, welcoming and thoughtfully designed. Fully equipped with an electric AGA, underfloor heating and a Nespresso machine, it has everything you need for a relaxing stay. Next door, the separate living room is furnished with extra-comfortable sofas, a log burner and charming overhead beams, making it hard to do anything other than settle in and stay put.
The Bedroom & Bathroom
Upstairs, the calming king-size bedroom is dressed in buttery hues and organic bed linen. Next door, you’ll find a Waterworks bathroom with a dressing area and a bath, alongside a separate shower room, both stocked with Wildsmith products, organic towels and dressing gowns.
Outside
Outside, a private paved terrace overlooking the green is made for breakfast in the sunshine, evening drinks or dinner for two.
Welcome Hamper
A locally sourced welcome hamper from Daylesford will be waiting for you on arrival including a loaf of fresh sourdough, eggs, milk, butter and a bottle of sparkling rosé.

Honey-stone cottages, quiet lanes and a slower pace of life have earned it the title of Country Life’s ‘England’s Favourite Village’.
