cart shed

Sleeps 6
3 Bedrooms
From £400 per night

Indulge and unwind in this thoughtfully restored former cart shed, now a luxury holiday retreat with a log burner for cosy winter afternoons and sun-drenched garden for summer relaxation.

Kitchen, Living & Dining Areas

Cart Shed is the perfect juxtaposition of a traditional building still beaming with original features, against the wonderfully modern, slate hued interiors found throughout the design. The white tiled kitchen is a simple yet well stocked space with a breakfast bar perfect for your morning coffee.

You can also find the open-plan sitting and dining area one end and the Master super-King bedroom accompanied by an en-suite wet room with both a bath and a shower, plus a spacious dressing room. There’s also a separate downstairs loo.

The Bedrooms

Head upstairs to the two remaining super-King/twin bedrooms with their rustic, exposed rafters and charming window sills overlooking the sun-drenched garden where children may run a mockery on the green lawn. Each bedroom has an en-suite; one with a bath and one with a shower.

Cart Shed is the ideal choice for a family looking for a luxurious space to relax or a group of friends headed to the country for a holiday of style and design.

Dogs

Please note, Cart Shed does not allow dogs.

About Bibury, The Cotswolds

Known for its honey-hued stone and pretty chocolate-box cottages, Bibury is home to one of the most photographed streets in the whole of the Cotswolds; the National Trust protected, Arlington Row. Crowned by William Morris as ‘the most beautiful village in the Cotswolds’, it’s safe to say that this iconic countryside destination will not disappoint.

Expect pretty pastoral scenes at every turn (the River Coln runs through the village), a popular village pub and a handful of historic sights to discover. You can explore the nearby towns of Stow-on-the-Wold, Bourton-on-the-Water, Stroud and more, plus the classic Cotswolds Lavender Farm is only a short drive away.

How To Get There

Cart Shed sits just outside the village of Bibury, located between Cirencester and Burford (about a 15-minute drive from each). We recommend travelling to the Cotswolds by car, so you can explore the surrounding area. There is private parking and an electric vehicle charging point available upon request.

The closest train station is at Kemble (roughly a 25-minute drive away), with regular trains running from London and other major cities. The train from London Paddington takes approximately one and a half hours.
