Overview
Stay in a little slice of history at The Lodge, formerly part of the local Middle Hill Park Estate and dating back to the late 1800s. The owners have lovingly restored this jewel box of a property without losing any of its classic charm, with original windows (plus some tasteful secondary glazing for comfort), doors, and checked tile flooring all remaining in place. Just a 10-minute walk from the ever-popular village of Broadway, it’s ideally located for the quintessential Cotswold getaway.
Kitchen, Living & Dining Areas
The beautiful galley kitchen is decorated in a rich shade of royal blue, and is a lovely place to whip up culinary delights while overlooking the picture-perfect garden. The living room is cosy and chic, with tasteful furnishings and a wood burner.
The Bedrooms & Bathroom
There are two bedrooms at The Lodge, each one decorated in soothing green or pink. The main, King-size bedroom overlooks the neighbouring paddock and the horses that graze in it, and has a small window seat where you can curl up with a good book. The second bedroom has a double bed and faces the local church. They share a brand-new ground-floor shower room with its own pretty pastel palette.
Outside
There’s plenty of outside space at The Lodge, in keeping with the countryside surroundings. Enjoy a meal al-fresco at the garden table anchored by a timeless umbrella, or simply relax on the lawn and admire the unique charm of the house. The surrounding fields, stately homes and neighbouring cricket pitch add to the bucolic tone.
Welcome Hamper
A welcome hamper filled with local goodies will be waiting for you on arrival.
Dogs
One dog is welcome at The Lodge for an additional fee of £40.
