A one bedroom honey-hued hideaway in the pretty town of Stow-on-the-Wold with original features, stylish interiors and a fun, quirky layout. The Nook is perfect for couples looking for a romantic escape in the Cotswolds, with plenty of country pubs, restaurants and walks within reach. Lovingly restored by its owners using natural, locally sourced and recycled materials, The Nook blends classic British country style with urban-industrial chic.

On the ground floor you’ll find an open-plan farmhouse-style kitchen and sitting room, equipped with everything you need for hunkering down in your cosy Cotswolds hideaway. The sofa pulls out into a bed sleeping up to two children or one adult (on request). You’ll have to seek out the separate dining room, tucked away and hidden behind a secret door. The wet room style bathroom consists of stone walls, industrial fittings and a walk-in rainfall shower. There’s underfloor heating throughout for added luxury.

Climb the open-flight stairs to the bespoke steel and glass walkway above, where you’ll find an overhead mezzanine bedroom in the eaves and a giant cloud-like bed awaiting you.

At the front of the cottage, there’s a private gravelled garden terrace with an idyllic table and chairs set up, perfect for enjoying morning coffees in the sunshine.

Dogs are not allowed at this property.

Larger group? Book alongside neighbouring property, The Collector’s House.
