Overview
Nestled in an ancient orchard surrounded by rolling Somerset hills and views across the delightful Dillington Park, Hay Loft is a six-bedroom old estate cottage that has been extended and renovated into a stylish space for a rural getaway with family or friends.
Ground Floor
The house has six bedrooms on the ground floor, each with their own bathrooms. Decked out with colourful furnishings and playful patterned wallpaper, and the rooms sitting in the older part of the house are full of charming original features such as old elm beams, a large fireplace, and exposed hamstone walls.
First Floor
Expect a spacious loft-style open-plan kitchen, dining and living space, with glass bi-fold doors that open onto the rear terrace, orchards and views across the rolling hills, woods, and beyond. Everything has been renovated to a high standard, and the floor-to-ceiling glass windows and doors help bring the surrounding nature indoors. You’ll also find an outdoor dining set up on terrace for alfresco dinners.
Outside
Make the most of your surroundings and soak up the Somerset scenes from the fenced garden. There’s a fire pit and a wood-fired hot tub with views across Dillington Park.
Dogs
Hay Loft is happy to accept two dogs for a fee of £50 per dog. We kindly ask that your dog is never left unattended, and does not go on any furniture or in bedrooms.
Welcome Hamper
A welcome hamper filled with local goodies will be waiting for you on arrival including milk, biscuits and a homemade cake.
