Overview
Set in the golden-hued village of Buckland, on the edge of the Cotswolds, Mollie’s Cottage is a charming three-bedroom thatched retreat surrounded by a patchwork of rolling countryside and prized country pubs. Just 30 minutes from Oxford, it strikes the perfect balance between exploration and escape. Inside, thoughtfully curated interiors and a peaceful garden create a wonderful setting for switching off and spending time together.
Kitchen, Living & Dining Areas
Relaxed, pared back and effortlessly stylish, the interior at Mollie’s both welcome and inspire with its original features and antique furnishings. From central living space you’ll find a separate cosy snug room to your right, and an open-plan dining room and farmhouse-style kitchen to your left. Expect open brick walls, original features, and warm buttery hues throughout.
The Bedrooms
Upstairs, you’ll find one king-size bedroom along with two double bedrooms, each coupled with original beams, colourful quilts, playful prints, and rattan shades. One of the double rooms has its own en-suite shower room and there is also a lovely family bathroom with both a walk-in shower and a bath.
For those with little ones, please note that there is no banister on the stairs.
Outside
The generous garden is framed by perfectly pruned, Alice-in-Wonderland hedgerows, while candy-floss-pink roses tumble over the honey-stone walls, creating a peaceful spot to unwind in the sunshine.
