Overview
Perfect as a couple’s bolthole, The Coach House is located within the grounds of a 17th-century country house, set amidst 25 acres of spectacular private land with sensational views. Just a short distance from the historic wool town of Tetbury, this super stylish and indulgent property makes for a idyllic countryside retreat.
First Floor
The Coach House’s living space encompasses the whole upper level. Step through the front door, accessed via the tallet steps, into the main living area to find a well-equipped kitchen, generous dining area and a colourful, contemporary living space with a log burner and SMART TV. And most importantly, there’ll be a bottle of champagne chilling in the fridge waiting for you.
Beyond the living area is a double aspect bedroom with a sumptuous super-King bed, and soothing views across the tranquil valley.
Sliding open the barn double doors reveals the spectacular en-suite bathroom with a huge freestanding bath and double, walk-in shower.
Ground Floor
Unique to this property is the spacious games room occupying the ground floor. While away rainy days or darker evenings playing pool or ping pong – or lower the black out blinds at the touch of a button and settle into the giant Loaf sofa with freshly made popcorn for a movie or box set on the 75” screen. If you fancy a workout during your stay, there are yoga mats, a skipping rope and hand held weights at your disposal.
Outside
Outside there is a Weber charcoal BBQ, dining area, sun loungers and beautiful views. Indulge in long walks through the private estate, savour sundowners by the fire pit overlooking the pond, or simply immerse yourselves in the birdsong and tranquillity.
Dogs
The Coach House welcomes two small/medium dogs for an additional fee of £40 per dog. We kindly ask that your dogs are never left unattended, do not go on any of the furniture and are kept on a lead on the large lawn in front of The Coach House. Please note that the garden is not enclosed.
Children
This property is not suitable for toddlers or young children. Only babes in arms under 6 months.

A locally sourced welcome hamper will be waiting for you on arrival including milk, eggs, butter, a fresh loaf and a bottle of champagne.

About Tetbury
The Coach House is located amidst rolling Cotswolds hills in the 25-acre grounds of a 17th country manor house, 5 miles south west of Tetbury.
Please note that one of our other properties, The Tree House, is also located nearby on the same private country estate.
How to get there
Due to its rural location, by car is the best way to get to The Coach House. However, Kemble Station, with direct trains from London, is a 20-minute drive away.

There is parking for two cars at The Coach House.

Please note, check-in is from between 4pm and 11pm, and check-out is by 10am.

The Coach House is an exceptional property by anyone's standards. the building itself is quite beautiful and is located in a very quiet and peaceful valley. The owners go just that little bit further to make you feel welcome.

We stumbled upon this hidden gem, and it turned out to be an absolute delight! Tucked away in a private, rural setting, the surroundings were nothing short of breathtaking.

We’ve stayed in a number of luxury cottages over the years, but this one is the best! We enjoyed exploring Tetbury and a day at Westonbirt Arboretum – but couldn’t wait to get back to the Coach House, explore the valley, have a few games of pool and sink into the Loaf sofa for a movie night. Just fabulous!

The most incredible stay! We absolutely loved The Coach House, what a retreat it felt like. Still can’t get over the bathroom, it was like walking into a spa every day. This was the most perfect place for our mini-moon and we will definitely be back.

Thank you so much for our wonderful stay. A little bit of R&R was just what we needed after getting married at the weekend. The thought, love and care that has gone into every tiny detail is what made our stay so special, from the lighting and interiors to the homemade mulberry gin which is a new favourite. Our dog enjoyed exploring the grounds and we had some lovely trips out – but we could quite easily have stayed in the whole time.

WOW!! This was our first thought entering this place and our last thought leaving it. Every detail has been thought about – from the the décor, lighting, sound system to the spa-like bathroom. This place is absolutely beautiful, we have stayed in lots of places in and around the Cotswolds and The Coach House blows them all out of the water. We just cannot thank you enough! We arrived tired, stressed and worn out and are leaving relaxed and happy. Your amazing attention to detail just blew us away and we absolutely loved all the thoughtful touches. We had so much fun playing pool then setting down to watch movies.
