Occupying the first floor and making the most of the rolling countryside views, the striking loft-style, open-plan kitchen, dining and living space forms the heart of Hay Loft. Floor-to-ceiling glass windows draw in the landscape and flood the room with natural light, while bi-fold doors open onto the raised rear terrace overlooking the orchards and woodland beyond. With its generous proportions and seamless connection to the outdoors, it is a wonderful setting for slow mornings, lively evenings and memorable gatherings.

The Bedrooms & Bathrooms

The six en-suite bedrooms are located on the ground floor, each thoughtfully dressed with colourful furnishings and playful patterned wallpapers. Our favourites sit within the older part of the house, where original elm beams, a grand fireplace and exposed hamstone walls reveal Hay Loft’s heritage and bring a beautifully layered sense of character.

Outside

The garden opens out onto sweeping Somerset views, framed by orchards, woodland and open parkland. Gather around the fire pit, unwind in the wood-fired hot tub or settle in for al-fresco dining on the terrace.

Dogs

Hay Loft is happy to accept two dogs for an additional fee of £50 per dog. Dogs are not allowed in any of the bedrooms or on any of the furniture.
